Track eddies across time steps
- Parameters:
eddies (EvolEddies2D) – Detections at several time steps. The time interval should preferably be constant.
nback (int) – Number of backward time steps for eddy tracking. Typically around 10 days for satellite altimetry and 1 or 2 days for numerical simulations.
- Returns:
Tracks object with eddy trajectories.
- Return type:
